Strange weather lately!  It was 75 degrees F just two evenings ago and now there is snow falling and accumlating on the ground!  In my 42 years in South Louisiana, I recall snow accumulating less than the number of fingers on one hand.  Schools and roads are closing because us crazy cajuns do not know how to behave (or drive!) in this stuff!

In other news, I treated myself to a nice Digital MultiMeter that measures not only volt, ohms and amps but inductance, capacitance, frequency and temperature.  Sweet!  I have a nice 1.5 KW oil filled paint-can type dummy load on order as well.  This is all geared toward being able to troubleshoot, repair and align my growing collection of Vintage Tube transmitter and receivers.  One step closer to getting that Johnson Viking I riding the waves again!  I think it shouldn't be long now!

Okay everyone! I am working (slowly) on a section about AM on the bands.  Lot's of new changes in my life that are taking up much of my time though but eventually it should be a nice addition to the site.
